Agriculture | n. phr.
a kind of  olive grove that does not incorporate any  irrigation system, which reduces the density and  yield of the plantation.

Example

In non-irrigated olive groves, or where irrigation systems are not installed, the application of granular or even soluble fertilizers is in many cases not very efficient.

Additional information

traditional olive groves were non-irrigated, had an acceptable  yield and were resistant to drought. However, the substantial rise in yield caused by irrigated olive groves has made  modern oliviculture incorporate a number of  irrigation systems whenever the features of the land allow doing so.
